qt5-qtwebengine available
by Dan Horák
Hi all,
thanks to the work the community does on porting the Chromium browser
to ppc64le, we can have also the qt5-qtwebengine library available.
Currently there are ~20 packages that are excluded on ppc64le due the
unavailability of the webengine.
My "talos" COPR repository [1] contains now the main qt5-qtwebengine
package, pyqtwebengine bindings for Python and also the qmapshack app.
Building calibre fails in a test, investigating now. If there are other
apps you would like to be made available, let me know.
The plan is to merge the ppc64le support into the official Fedora rpms,
but it can take some time and depends on support from the maintainers of
the QT stack.

Kernel 5.7.X Fedora 32 with Navi 10
by Maurizio M
Good morning guys, I didn't write to you until now because I thought
that in the end the problem would be solved because it was known for a
long time but I see that unfortunately still today it was not. I'm
referring to the Kernel in version 5.7 that since it came out, for us
users of AMD RAdeon 5700/5700 XT Navi 10, has never worked. This time
I'm not the one making the mistake because I also saw on Twitter, that
other users complain about the same problem. Even sometimes it doesn't
even load but it freezes first. Until now that we are at version 5.7.15,
unfortunately the problem remains, what should we do at this point? Wait
for 5.8 to arrive or will you be able to solve this problem first, which
I think you know well because they will have informed you before me?
Thank you
