D'Oh. Last time I looked closely, I thought up to date versions of cobbler
were coming
out of the repositories. But that was probably on a CentOS5 box, and this
is on a
RHEL5 box. And yum and the repositories is the big difference between
RHEL
and CentOS. So I may need to tweak the repo configs, or just install it
manually.
The newer version both has improved logging (especially in the case of
templating problems), and a more thorough "cobbler check".
In addition, the dynamic kickstart generation has been overhauled some,
so your problem may go away -- if it is in fact caused by some other
templating error, you should at least have better log output.
