When I have upgraded in the past it upgrades the current config. It also backs up the
config before upgrade; I think under /var/log/cobbler/backups. If you are worried you can
tar up /etc/cobbler and /var/lib/cobbler beforehand.
If your cobbler server is a VM, you could snapshot it before upgrading :)
rpm -ql cobbler will give you an idea of what to backup before you upgrade cobbler.
Don't forget cobbler-web if you have that.

Is it as easy as yum update cobbler cobbler-web? I'd rather not have to rebuild or
install a new server for this.

Guys I haven't found any clear guide to upgrade from 2.4.4 to 2.6.3 is there a doc or
guide out there, or something?
Cheers
