I had a look through the database, and would suggest reconsidering some
of the things that were left out of 1.3 in addition to what you've
mentioned already. If I had to rank priority for the RFE's I'd say:
1. ris-linux integration (this would be a huge benefit)
2. Better baremetal building support without every connecting a keyboard
(i.e. I order the systems with PXE boot set). I see this mentioned in
ticket 301. I don't know that the specific implementation suggested
would be best - it would be best not to have any sort of "install" be
the default, but if we can find a way of easily registering MAC
addresses for assignment to profiles that would be very helpful.

Thinking aloud, this could possibly be done with a special option added
to koan and a kickstart that does that and then reboots in %pre before
any further installation occurs. This could be done using any
installer kernel/initrd as a basis.
(Adding and calling a koan --register, basically)
Sound workable? The underlying mechanics would be quite trivial.
3. reduce repo size via hardlinking infrastructure (would be good if
this was automated into reposync so it's "automagic").
4. WebUI snippet selection/editing sounds like a helpful feature -
especially for people just getting started.

5. The XMLRPC integration shouldn't be a really big priority in my eyes,
but that may be because I don't fully understand what the benefits will
be.
Just that if you have 5,000+ systems, CLI startup each time gets to be
slow. It makes the CLI more responsive.
Namely, it's "low hanging fruit". Getting this to work for
add/edit/remove is actually trivial, so it's easy to do.
(A day's worth of work if I had to guess). Making it work for cobbler
sync/reposync is more complex and might be done later.
Anyway, just my $0.02 grain of salt...

Thanks for the feedback! I'm inclined to agree with you about those
being some of the important ones as well.
Need to look over the list to make sure I haven't missed any other good
ones too :)
