Solved that problem.
I'm up and running with:
cobbler-1.2.4-1.el5
koan-1.2.0-1.el5
Now I can:
cobbler sync
cobbler check doesn't report any problems
neither does cobbler validateks
But I'm still fighting the same underlying problem I had before I started
troubleshooting.
For some reason anaconda is dying because it's trying to write to a
read-only filesystem.
I don't know why the file system is read only. Normally I'd did a little
deeper, before asking again.
But it may already too late you may have already left for the weekend.,
The following kickstart started on another platform and I working on getting
it into shape for the new enviornment.
Right now I'm putting everything into a single logical volume under a xen
virtual machine.
