Greg,
I have to take this approach with an older machine my daughter has. I
use gPXE, which you can find at
http://etherboot.org/wiki/index.php
and after the initial boot, it does a fully automated install quite
wonderfully. I just upgraded her machine via a re-install from FC9 to
FC12 with less than a dozen keystrokes. :)

I am browsing the docs on Cobbler and everything seems to refer to
kickstating a machine using pxe boot. I have machines that don't have that capability.
Can I use the setup to boot off a cd and then start the installation? Thanks.
