I'm slightly indirect on this but I believe the use case is hosting both RHQ
access and access to the business application behind Apache using mod-jk
therefore they need something like;
JkMount /rhq rhqworker
JkMount /businessapp businessappworker
. I'll need to get more details from the customer to understand the detail
of the use case.

Subject: Re: RHQ not at the context root
The RHQ Server was/is meant to be deployed as a "black box" application.
It doesn't surprise me that there are some hardcoded URL fragments,
since there are no settings within RHQ that are supported/documented
that are meant to be tweeked to change the root context.
I have heard of one or two others that want to do this, but I don't know
of anyone that actually completely got it to work.
What is the use case for this?
If you'd like, write up a bugzilla issue to document this enhancement
request.

I'm not sure how easy or hard it would be to implement a feature like
this, but I do know at least one or two others have asked for this.

By default RHQ runs under Root context in the servlet container - my
customer would like to change this.
When I update the application.xml configured
<context-root>/</context-root> to something else in the configuration I
discover that there are lots of hard coded paths in the user interface,
links are broken & static content is absent.
Has anyone successfully configured RHQ to run under a different context?
