Hi Everyone,
RTI does provide transaction instance performance monitoring including call
chains, and transaction tracing across JVMs or platforms. Integration is
supported with JBoss Operations Network v3+ or RHQ v4+. We maintain a
separate product micro-site dedicated to the RTI product -

http://www.rtiperformance.com/feature-tour> -
and I would encourage anyone interested to review the Feature
Tour<http://www.rtiperformance.com/feature-tour>or watch
a quick overview <
http://www.rtiperformance.com/see-rti-in-action> of RTI
which includes a brief demo on our RHQ / JBoss ON integration.
Thanks,
Steve

No, but I think there is a third party app built on top of RHQ/JBoss ON
that can give you this. I'll let someone else speak to that. But here is OC
Systems website:
http://www.ocsystems.com/ - look at their RTI product.

There are metrics that we collect that tell you about different counts of
objects. Take a look at my blog again and look at the "Resource Metric
Collection Schedules" screen shot. You will see you can collect things like:
Availability Count (number of pool instances in the method-ready state)
Create Count (number of instances that have been created since server
start)
Create Count per Minute
Current Count (total number of currently pooled instances)
Remove Count (number of instances that have been removed since server
start)
Remove Count per Minute
