Currently, our documents have entities like this (please pardon the

I would like to see this instead as a standard:
<!ENTITY BOOKNAME "foo-tutorial">
<!ENTITY BOOKVERSION "0.15"> <!-- change version number here -->
<!ENTITY BOOKDATE "2005-01-01"> <!-- change revision date here -->
<!ENTITY BOOKID "&BOOKNAME;-&BOOKVERSION; (&BOOKDATE;)">
<!ENTITY BUG-NUM "000000"> <!-- only used while in draft -->
Another +1.
I'd prefer "DOC*", over "BOOK*" for these, just because documents
may
all not be Guides, and most of the end-products are on-line, rather than
specifically for printing.
