hostname is not a dhcpd.conf option AFAIK. You need to do something
like this with "option host-name".
host foo {
option host-name "some-hostname";
fixed-address "1.2.3.4";
..
..
}

Using the above template and trying to replicate this scenario I'm
*not*
getting this restart error.
Except I'm using F-10.
Anyone have an idea as to /why/ this is invalid syntax? It looks valid
to me.
Perhaps it's a variance in different versions of dhcpd, or I'm just
missing something obvious?

Strange that it worked on my end? Anyway, we'll fix the template for
the next version.
