Apparently "cobbler import" doesn't know about it, but it probably should.
https://fedorahosted.org/cobbler/ticket/245
This may be a good feature for someone with some Scientific Linux machines to knock out.
(As a reminder, code changes should go against the devel branch of cobbler, not master, as this would be a 1.3 feature)

I cannot ad this to track, as new fedoraaccounts seems disabled (or hightly delayed).
The first iso CD image works with current git HEAD. Regarding devel branch, it fails due to missing signature, but it is as easy as adding [ 'SL' , "redhat" ] to the signatures list on guess_breed function.
I'm dowloading the full DVD to test, but problem seems to come from a symlink /media/sites/example/sites/example/sites/RPMS -> ../../RPMS I had the same problem while starting with debian distros and their debian -> . symlink. It should be very easy (and dirty) to detect that on distro_adder.

It can take an hour for one to show up.
If you still have problems afterward check up with #fedora-admin on irc.freenode.net

We can do that ....

Sounds good, yeah send a patch along if you like...

Also if you have spam filtering enabled check your spam mailboxes, etc.
Sometimes things end up in the wrong place.

I've added the comment on trac, but the patch format is a bit loss, so I attach it to mail.
It might be a good idea to enable file attachments on trac.

Thanks, I'll take a look at this some time in the next few days.
I believe attachments are enabled. Either way patches should go to the mailing list -- Trac's just a good way to prioritize and sort through the queue of things I need to do, especially bug reports and RFEs. I don't neccessarily need a Trac item for patches on the mailing list since I just flag those until they are merged in, though if it's going to take a while to get to one I might file an item for it.

For sure they are. I was just that I looked at the bottom with the box, and it is at top.

Applied, thanks!
Due to some of my tweaking on devel this didn't apply cleanly, though I've applied it manually. I'll retest some imports in a bit just to make sure everything else is still happy.

That part on devel was modified to detect the "debian -> ." link that also caused an infinite recursion, and that is probably why it didn't apply clean. The new code is more generic than the old one (only checked if target was "."), so it should suffice.

Ah, I've got two checks in there now. Remove the Debian specific one then?
