Perfect. Thank you very much!

Jeremy,
I do something similar to this on the cobbler box I maintain. You could
use a dhcp tag on each of the solaris boxes. So on each solaris box you
add with:
--dhcp-tag=solaris
Then in your dhcp template (/etc/cobbler/dhcp.template) you do the
following. note the PART YOU NEED block below:
Also remember to do a 'cobbler sync' after editing this file.
#for dhcp_tag in $dhcp_tags.keys():
# group for cobbler DHCP tag: $dhcp_tag
group {
#for mac in $dhcp_tags[$dhcp_tag].keys()
#set iface = $dhcp_tags[$dhcp_tag][$mac]
host $iface.name {
hardware ethernet $mac;
#if $iface.ip_address;
fixed-address $iface.ip_address;
#end if
#if $iface.hostname:
option host-name "$iface.hostname";
#end if
#if $iface.subnet:
option subnet-mask $iface.subnet;
#end if
#if $iface.gateway:
option routers $iface.gateway;
#end if
filename "$iface.filename";
##### BEGIN PART YOU NEED ###
#if $dhcp_tag == 'solaris'
next-server 000.000.000.000; # change this...
#else
next-server $next_server;
#end if
###### END PART YOU NEED ###
}
#end for
}
#end for

have some solaris boxes which we'd like to exist in the cobbler db and we'd like
cobbler to manage its dns and dhcp but we want to specify another next_server for this
profile so it will boot from a jumpstart server at another address.
