| Just curious, how are you using menus on a system by system basis?

Basically, because our classroom also functions as a laboratory, I want
to allow customizing the cmdline so people can FU the machines BAR.
To this end, even if we set a system to be installed to a specific
profile, people need the options, and I set allowoptions 1 in
/etc/cobbler/pxe/pxesystem.template. However, if it says "linux" and
that's all it does, people see no difference in what profile is going to
be used.
Anyway;
[root@ghandalf pxelinux.cfg]# cat /etc/cobbler/pxe/pxesystem.template
default vesamenu.c32
allowoptions 1
...rows removed...
timeout 100
ontimeout linux
label linux
~ kernel $kernel_path
$menu_label
~ ipappend 2
~ $append_line
Kind regards,
