Hello,
Can't I import the latest CentOS release with Cobbler 2.2.3?
No
Is it necessery to update my Cobbler version?
Yes, I've upgraded Cobbler from 2.2.3 to 2.4.4 (RHEL5) to import RHEL7 & RHEL6.6 for this same message; No import managers found a valid signature at the location specified
But the release notes specificies a higher version; 2.4.5 http://www.cobblerd.org/manuals/2.4.0/1/1_-_Release_Notes.html Add support for importing Enterprise Linux 7 (RHEL/CentOS)
2.6.2 http://www.cobblerd.org/manuals/2.6.0/1/1_-_Release_Notes.html Add EL7 (RHEL/CentOS) to distro signatures

I'm trying to import a new distro (CentOS 7) to my Cobbler server (version 2.2.3). When I run "cobbler import --name=centos-7-x86_64 --path=/mnt/iso" (with ISO file mount as loop device in /mnt/iso) I get these errors: Wed Oct 29 16:16:33 2014 - DEBUG | received on stderr: Wed Oct 29 16:16:33 2014 - INFO | running import manager: import/redhat Wed Oct 29 16:16:33 2014 - INFO | trying hardlink /var/www/cobbler/ks_mirror/centos-7-x86_64/images/pxeboot/vmlinuz -> /var/www/cobbler/images/centos-7-x86_64/vmlinuz Wed Oct 29 16:16:33 2014 - INFO | trying hardlink /var/www/cobbler/ks_mirror/centos-7-x86_64/images/pxeboot/initrd.img -> /var/www/cobbler/images/centos-7-x86_64/initrd.img Wed Oct 29 16:16:33 2014 - DEBUG | trying cachelink /var/www/cobbler/ks_mirror/centos-7-x86_64/images/pxeboot/vmlinuz -> /var/lib/tftpboot/images/.link_cache/99c250fb32b89a0dc1e8c6d14007ac0713ef7006 -> /var/lib/tftpboot/images/centos-7-x86_64/vmlinuz Wed Oct 29 16:16:33 2014 - DEBUG | trying cachelink /var/www/cobbler/ks_mirror/centos-7-x86_64/images/pxeboot/initrd.img -> /var/lib/tftpboot/images/.link_cache/4833c4ca1138a5f8d23caaf027d617aff0ba3d2c -> /var/lib/tftpboot/images/centos-7-x86_64/initrd.img Wed Oct 29 16:24:22 2014 - INFO | an exception occured while running the import manager Wed Oct 29 16:24:22 2014 - INFO | error was: '--os-version for breed redhat must be one of rhel3, rhel4, rhel5, rhel6, fedora14, fedora15, fedora16, fedora17, fedora18, rawhide, generic24, generic26, virtio26, other, given was rhel7' Wed Oct 29 16:24:22 2014 - INFO | No import managers found a valid signature at the location specified It seems my Cobbler version doesn't support CentOS-7 breed... but, is it a normal error?
