Found a vmware compatible signature: imagedd.bz2****
running: rsync -a '/media/esxi41/' /var/www/cobbler/ks_mirror/ESXi41-x86_64 --exclude-from=/etc/cobbler/rsync.exclude --progress --quiet****
Can someone point me at a place where I can modify the code to import ESXi5 ? Are there any other considerations ?
So the code that this happens in is:
/usr/lib/python*/cobbler/modules/manage_import_vmware.py
It appears that they made some changes to what they provide:
http://www.vcritical.com/2011/07/vmware-esxi-5-interactive-pxe-installation-...
So I'm not sure how much work that means, however I believe mainly you just need to look for the identifier to add to the signatures list.
