Re: Fedora 10 Live CD PXE Boot

As per Chris' instructions, I've manually added this to
the /tftpboot/pxelinux.cfg/default file:
LABEL F10-live-Chris
KERNEL /images/F10-live/vmlinuz0
APPEND initrd=/images/F10-live/initrd0.img root=CDLABEL=F10-i686-Live rootfstype=iso9660 ro liveimg rootflags=loop
..but I still get the same error. I'll file a bugzilla report shortly, but I'm wondering
if I'm the only one with this issue, since googling really doesn't turn up any other hits
but this thread.

PXE boot sub menu's
by Glenn Bailey
Now I'm not sure if this is even possible, but I thought I'd throw it out there. Basically, having submenus within the PXE boot menu. An example would be the following:
CentOS
- CentOS 4
- i386
- Web build
- App build
- Dev build
- x86_64
- CentOS 5
- i386
- x86_64
- etc
My build process does not include MAC addresses, so we basically have to select the OS then I'll
have some post scripts to pull the chassis serial # for configuration info from a config database.
Just wanted something a bit cleaner that the default method, but of course this is just me being
anal ;-)

WebUI search now available on the master branch
by Michael DeHaan
This is the /last/ feature for 1.6, and it's now pushed.
For those that would like to test, please do so. Just visit the web app
and the search links should be rather obvious.
Meanwhile I'm going to be doing some of my own final testing here and
hope to have some 1.6.0 "preview" RPMs available in a few days to do
more formal testing with.
As usual, we'll let folks test things for a couple of weeks and then do
the proper release of 1.6.

Debian/Ubuntu Sparc support in Cobbler
by Montgomery, Philip
Curious, is anyone is working on integrating Debian or Ubuntu Sparc version support into Cobbler?
I tried searching for it, but did not find any info.
Thnx,

Using Puppet integration with 1.4.3?
by Michael DeHaan
There was a last remaining reference to the old YAML parser you'll need
to change to get Puppet working again.
You need to edit /usr/bin/cobbler-ext-nodes and replace the string that
says ".next()" with ""
