You can (in almost any client), do a:
/join #server:fedoraproject.org
Also, the link mentioned above should work in most cases...
(the matrix.to one)
If you are searching for rooms, make sure you select 'fedoraproject.org'
as the server. It will default to your homeserver, whatever that is.
You should be able to search for 'server' when you have
'fedoraproject.org' selected as the server to search.
