Brief PRD status report
by Peter Boy
Hi all,
the latest version from our previous discussions is now available at:
https://hackmd.io/@x3mboy/HyB92cVl_
We are currently on hold waiting for 2 text passages on
- FreeIPA (5.3 - 3) by ab
- Hyperscaler (5.2) by michel_slm
Langdon is starting to refine the overall wording, but will have to wait for the two posts himself as well to finalize this eventually.
If everything is done quickly, we will be able to discuss and vote on the final text on May 5, but hopefully no later than May 12.
So it is now time for everyone to go through the text again and check for themselves whether all the arguments and goals / objectives are so OK and really intended. We commit ourselves with it for the next 2-3 years!
Concerns or changes please insert as a comment in the text and / or as a posting here on the mailing list.

Issue with cockpit 34 server beta
by Peter Boy
I just installed F34 Server build 20210416. (Fedora-Server-dvd-x86_64-34-20210416.n.0) and tried cockpit.
Under 'Devices‘ there are no devices listed and the menu button in this section only shows „create RAID device“.
Usually there are the volume groups listed (among others) and I can create a new LV.
Is there a new way to that in F34? Do I miss something? Or is something wrong?
Best

Hey folks! This is the real-deal first RC for F34 Final, with all known
blockers fixed. We only have a short time before the go/no-go meeting,
but I am going to see if we can push that to Friday without impacting
the schedule. In the meantime, please do help test it as much as
possible. Thanks!

Call for Agenda Items on 2020-04-21 17:00 UTC meeting (today)
corrected date
by Peter Boy
Sorry for the way too late agenda, but hopefully not too late.
Agenda
======
1. Welcome
2. Agenda
3. PRD Update second ( hopefully last) pass
===========================================
see: https://hackmd.io/@x3mboy/HyB92cVl_
There is an updated version of the text. It’s a different address as we used so far! It is the new text only, without the immediate comparison with the old version.
We should have a quick tour of all sections and check if all agreements made are realized with that text.
It's about the arguments, not the wording!
Please while preparing for our meeting use the hackmd comment functionality!
Hopefully we can close that matter soon.
4. Fedora release criteria and process
======================================
see: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/server@lists.fedoraproject....
Because recommended packages are not included in the full installation iso (due to limited capacity of DVDs) we had a serious bug in Cockpit. This raises further questions. For example, a different installation may result depending on which of the iso's is used.
5. Planing for next Fedora release
==================================
What do we want to achieve?
