As much as I would like to continue, it has become clear that I just
don't have the cycles needed to directly contribute to the Fedora
Server at this time. I hereby resign from the Server WG.
That said, I *will* still try to contribute where time allows, but I
don't want anything waiting on me.
This is very unfortunate and very disadvantageous for a reboot of the Server Working
Group.
Couldn't you postpone your resignation until a new formation is established? Or even
better, what would need to be done to keep you contributing to Fedora Server *and* retain
membership in the Server WG? Can we find someone to take over something from you, so that
fewer "cycles" are needed? I think so far there has been no "anything
waiting on me", quite the opposite.
I don't believe that is a fair ask. When someone is overloaded you're
asking them to continue to be overloaded. Basically asking them to
continue to keep drowning. Ultimately if the Server WG is going to be
successful it needs to be able to do so on it's own steam.
I'm sure Stephen will happily be around to answer questions if and
when it's necessary. I suspect all the answers will be in the list
archives or the meeting notes TBH.
