Comments and Questions Below:
I read through the whole of
https://docs.stg.fedoraproject.org/en-US/fedora-server/installation-an-in...
I got a little lost in the partitioning section, but I don't believe it is the fault
of the documentation, but instead my lack of experience and understanding of LVM and other
partitioning schemes and methods. I'm planning to reread for the benefit of my own
personal learning. Over all I really appreciated the job that everyone did on this
document, I would like to see it published. It is well written and a good doc to read to
think through how a server install should be thought differently from a workstation instal
Thanks for feedback! Would be happy if we could discuss what we should add od modify to
make it as easy as possible for a sysadmin to grasp the central rationale. And especially
when you've spent a lot of time on a subject, it's hard to get it across to
someone who isn't too deep into it. And sometimes my GermanEnglish may also get in the
way, especially in somewhat complex contexts where the exact wording matters. That's
why reviews of our documentation are so important (I always remember eseyman, who
transformed my drily introduction into a snappy text with just a few changes).
I did wonder about one issue. I noticed that this document links to a few docs from F35,
will we be able to make a quick change when F36 is released to refer to what I imagine
will be the same docs or slightly revised pages for F36 docs?
All the links should refer to /latest/ and not to a specific release. The docs team
introduced that option just recently. Maybe some of our texts still need adjustment.
