The GCJ compilation bit comes in when you do bytecode to native
compilation, which, as I recall, you do afterwards anyway.
Now I think I understand. And I do indeed do the native compilation
later on, using aot-compile-rpm as described on the GCJ guidelines
page.
I will keep the special bits for GCJ, and let GCJ/ECJ do the bytecode
compilation too. Thanks for your help everybody!
