libvirt/KVM/QEMU and Secure Boot
by Jeffrey Walton
Hi Everyone,
I recently started using libvirt/KVM/QEMU. In the past I used
VirtualBox. When using VirtualBox I turned off Secure Boot because I
did not want to manage signing of tainted modules.
My question is, are libvirt/KVM/QEMU modules signed out-of-the-box?
Or, can I enable Secure Boot without the need to manage module
signing?

Google Chrome Update Question
by Tim Evans
Usually, dnf updates take care of updating Google Chrome. Lately, for
the past week or so, however, there's a big pink button in Chrome's
status bar labeled "Update," but dnf insists I have the latest version
(google-chrome-stable-115.0.5790.110-1.x86_64).
If you click this button, it tells you it's unable to update Chrome and
asks if you want to re-install.
Is this just a new idiot light that means nothing, or is there some sort
of conflict with update versions?
Thanks.

Printer drivers and raw queues are deprecated
by Michael Hennebry
CUPS wrote:

future version of CUPS.
Then what?
It wrote that after I installed a Brother HL-L2360DW
using the printer-driver-brlaser-6.2.6-1.fc38.x86_64 package.
It provided the
Brother HL-L2360D series, using brlaser v6 (en)
option under model.
If CUPS rejects my printer before it runs out of ink,
will I have another option?

F38 - Error in file transfer to flip phone after system update
by Robert Moskowitz
F38 with Xfce:
I have two Android phones I copy files to:
My Samsung A01 smartphone
My wifes's LG VN220 flipphone
With my phone when I mount, I am queried on the phone to allow which I
do then can transfer.
For the VN220, I go into settings and switch USB Connection to file
transfer, attach and mount the phone then just transfer files.
So today I did a big update; probably has been a couple weeks since the
last.
Afterwards, I rebooted. Then moved some files to the A01. No problem.
Then tried the VN220. It created the directories but cannot transfer
files. Thunar just freezes. I have to crash it.
I got to get some files on the phone for the wife. Where do I look for
what might be not working?
