selinux problem 'popup'
by JD
Selinux comlained the a program "attempted write on this directory"
but it does not say which directory.
I looked in /var/log but even there it does not say which directory.
So how can I find out which directory the program attempted the write?

Middle mouse button stopped pasting
by Ranbir
Hi Everyone,
For some reason unbeknownst to me, the middle button on my mouse no
longer pastes texts into terminal windows, emails, or anywhere else it
use to after I highlight text.
Everything else on my mouse appears to work just fine. I haven't applied
any updates. Actually, I decided to update my desktop and rebooted after
this problem appeared.
I'm running Fedora 20. I know, it's getting long in the tooth. I am
actually going to install the latest and greatest soon, but not for
another month or so.
I'd really appreciate it if someone could point me in the right
direction to get this annoying issue resolved.
Thanks,
Ranbir

How to cleanly stop and restart firewalld?
by David Highley
We always see failures after doing; systemctl stop firewald followed by
systemctl start firewalld. To clear the issue we seem to have to reboot
the system.

tilem2 for Fedora 22?
by Antonio Olivares
Dear folks,
I like to use tilem2 CalcForge Repository to emulate Ti83/84 calculators. I install repo and try to install tilem2 and I get:
[root@localhost ~]# dnf install tilem2
Fedora 22 - x86_64 1.8 MB/s | 41 MB 00:23
CalcForge RPMs for Fedora 22 - x86_64 - Non-Fre 9.7 kB/s | 1.4 kB 00:00
CalcForge RPMs for Fedora 22 - x86_64 - Base 119 kB/s | 34 kB 00:00
Fedora 22 - x86_64 - Updates 1.3 MB/s | 7.6 MB 00:05
Last metadata expiration check performed 0:00:07 ago on Mon Jun 15 16:19:59 2015.
No package tilem2 available.
Error: no package matched: tilem2
Has tilem2 been depracated? or it is in the building process and one can wait a little while to get it?
Thanks,
Antonio

gnome-terminal & select by word characters
by Stephen Berg (Contractor)
After reinstalling with F22 a double click in gnome-terminal is behaving
differently.
Before if I double clicked on an NFS share such as
"servername:/export/data" the entire string would be selected.
After the reinstall I only get "servername" or "/export/data"
highlighted for copying or pasting.
I found a couple of references to changing the list of characters in
"Select by word characters" but that option does not show up as a
profile option. I further found one piece of advise that it's a hidden
setting in dconf, but when I looked for it in dconf-editor I couldn't
find it.
Is it possible to change the behavior back so that a colon character is
considered part of the word?
Another undesirable effect this is having:
In terminal if I run "dnf info gnome-terminal" and try double clicking
on the URL line I can highlight "http" or "//www.gnome.org/" but not the
whole URL. But moving the mouse over the URL it does underline the
entire URL and let you right click and Open Link.

Gnome-tweak-tool
by Lawrence E Graves
Is there going to be a fix or change in the theme-selector in
gnome-tweak-tool in Fedora Workstation 22 or what it is is what it is.
Just curious.

Install of F22 Fails on Optiplex 780 with Windows 7.1
by Gregory P. Ennis
Everyone,
I am trying to do a new install on a Dell Optiplex 780 that has Windows
7.1 on it. My plan was to have a dual boot machine. I have created
the Live 64 CD of Fedora 22 which boots without a problem, but when
when I try to install it to the disc it does not recognize the hard
drive.
I was getting ready to file a BUG and found one that already exists.

Have any of the rest of you had this problem, and have any of you
solved it.

Anyone get squirrelmail to work since Fedora 21?
by David Highley
Has anyone been able to get squirrelmail to work since updating to
Fedora 21? We have the following roaming configuration:
outside web server -> dovecot port 993 -> inside mail server
This worked for years before updating to Fedora 21 and we are now
running Fedora 22. It fails with the following errors:
Jun 14 14:34:34 douglas dovecot[1653]: imap-login: Disconnected (no auth attempts in 0 secs): user=<>, rip=10.2.2.2, lip=10.2.2.7, TLS handshaking: SSL_accept() failed: error:14094418:SSL routines:SSL3_READ_BYTES:tlsv1 alert unknown ca: SSL alert number 48, session=<EkGAG4EY+QAKAgIC>
