Procmail issue
by Ashley M. Kirchner
Hey folks,
Seems the procmail list has fallen off of the face of the planet ... at
least, the address given on the procmail.org website doesn't seem to work
anymore.
So perhaps someone here might be able to help. I'm trying to figure out
why a recipe isn't working (when it used to in the past.)
The entire recipe is as follows:
:0
* !^X-Forwarded-For: kirash4(a)gmail.com ashley(a)pcraft.com
* !^X-Forwarded-For: kirash4(a)gmail.com ashley(a)pcigrafx.com
* !^From.*kirash4(a)gmail.com
* !^To.*ashley(a)papillon.pcraft.com
! kirash4(a)gmail.com
:0c
* ^X-Forwarded-For: kirash4(a)gmail.com ashley(a)pcraft.com
* ^X-Forwarded-For: kirash4(a)gmail.com ashley(a)pcigrafx.com
! salesdept
Basically, any incoming e-mail that does not have that X-Forwarded-For line
in it will get sent to GMail (which forwards it back).
Email that does have that tag in it, will get copied to the 'salesdept'
mailbox as well. It's this second part that doesn't seem to work.
Incoming e-mail gets forwarded to GMail as they should. When they come
back, they get dropped in the recipient's mailbox as they should. However,
that second recipe seems to completely ignored. Nothing gets copied to the
salesdept mailbox.
What am I missing, or did wrong here?

F18: USB flash drives do not mount
by Ranjan Maitra
Hi,
I am a bit at a loss as to how to get USB flash drives to mount on F18.
It has been such a long tome since this has not worked from
off-the-shelf in Fedora or anything that I have perhaps forgotten what
to do (maybe I never knew):
Here is the output from tail -f /var/log/messages (as the USB is put
in):

Nothing happens as far as pcmanfm goes, and I can't see where this
goes. I guess I could go in for a hardwired manual mount, but I wanted
to first see if there was some more general fix first.
df does yield the following entry:
tmpfs tmpfs 990M 4.2M 985M 1% /run
but I can't seem to get to it.
Any suggestions, please?
Best wishes,
Ranjan

Hi,
This is a known issue, and there is already a bugzilla entry about this. I hope to fix it in a few days, by updating GeOS to 3.3.7 and PostGIS to
2.0.2.
Until then, you can use PostgreSQL RPM repo:

The combination of PostgreSQL 9.2 and PostGIS 1.5 is not supported.

a list of Fedora 18 package names?
by Fernando Cassia
I have tried googling "list of fedora packages" "f18" "fedora 18
packages list" and the like and couldn´t come up with such list.
Why isn´t any such list of packages published for each release?. I´m
sure that if someone does and such list is indexed by Google, you´d
get a lot of hits from people who do the same search I did. :)
So, could someone do a rpm -qa >fedora18-packages.txt on a F18 system
and do a pastebin? Thanks in advance (I´m running F17)

Acer V5-171 and Fedora 18
by Artifex Maximus
Hello!
Is anyone had success with Acer V5-171 laptop and Fedora 18?
This laptop has Windows 8 preinstalled and I am not able to install
Fedora 18 with Secure Boot enabled or disabled. Similar problem with
other distribution. Looks like stuck at GRUB loader.

Disappearing cursor problem with F18. FYi. (Solved hopefully).
by Richard Sewill
I installed F18. Was previously on F15.
Overall, am pleased with F18.
Have old hardware, 1G RAM. Was afraid to upgrade, but all is well.
I used KDE on F15. Still using KDE on F18.
One thing.
Similar to F15, my cursor disappeared several hours after I booted up.
I added the same fix I used in F15.
I added a file, that turns off HWCursor for the nouveau driver.
rsewill@localhost:~ <3:1> $ more
/etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/01-local-setup-mouse.conf
Section "Device"
Identifier "Configured Video Device"
Driver "nouveau"
Option "HWCursor" "off"
EndSection
rsewill@localhost:~ <3:2> $
This is an FYI because this solution appears to work for me.
If anyone has a better solution, or a more approved solution, please speak
up.

Anki 2.0 - when will it be released from testing?
by Max Pyziur
Having read Buzilla reports, the packager indicated that Anki 2.0 is ready
for prime time on F18 and F17 on 1/13/2013.
Given that it is 1/23/2013, I'm just curious as to what else needs to be
done.
Thanks.
