Hi all,
I am sorry to inform you that I will not be able to attend the Fedora
infrastructure meeting today at 18.00 UTC (11.30 pm Sri Lankan time)
because I am quite sick today and find it difficult to stay up that late.
Please excuse me for today's meeting.
I have been working on the project AskFedora UX/UI and functionality
overhaul with the mentors Sarup Banskota and Suchakra Sharma and I have
been working mainly on developing mockups for askbot using Inkscape in the
last couple of days. I have also set up a git repository to include my svgs
and pngs which you can find here
<https://github.com/anuradha1992/Askbot-mockups>. I will be discussing more
on improving the usability aspect of askbot with my mentors and also with
the infra people and incorporate them as well.
Thank you

Hi everyone,
I'm Anuradha Welivita from Sri Lanka. I'm working on the project AskFedora
UX/UI and functionality overhaul for GSoC this summer. I'm a person who is
very much interested in UX and UI related stuff and that is the main reason
behind me for taking up this project.
I'm hoping to become a member of the fedora design team as well and I have
done writing some blog articles about the experience I'm having by working
on this project. I have also come up with some mockups using Inkscape and
if you are interested you can view those too in my blog here

Thank you

Hi Everyone,
Though the post is about my first blog writting but first I would like to
introduce myself.
My name is Rahul Ranjan. I am currently enrolled as a undergraduate at
Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad. I have strong
interest in developing very large web application and machine learning.
Prior to GSOC I have contributed to several open source project and also
completed internship at various organization. You can visit my website at

Hi everyone,
Community bonding period is about to end but it sucks to see that almost
all of your have kept it to yourselfs. If I remember it right Kushal had
suggested that we introduce ourselves on fedora-app and
fedora-summer-coding mailing list, which none of you have done.
Introduction was quite welcoming experiencing for me, I got to know about
http://fedoraproject.org/easyfix/, in fact I got a bug fixed on that
website too.
Besides Anuradha and Turner, no one have post anything on their blog
either, which is another suck. Even Google requires us that we post
regularly after selection in GSoC.
Lastly, I would also like to remind Jacob and Rahul that it is important
that they attend fedora-infra meetings every Thursday 1800 UTC on
#fedro-meeting. I feel like a hypocrite saying this cause I didn't attend
first two meetings either. I wish someone reminded that I was suppose to. I
guess I am doing that for others now.
I hope you won't take this wrong way. I understand that colleges are just
closing and you must have been busy. However, wouldn't you hate if any this
gets in way of passing evaluations?
Hi,
I would like to request admins of summer coding group to send me an invite.
I have uploaded my ssh key and signed the FPCA. I believe those were only
two prerequisites?
I hope this the
Hi everyone,
New member here! My name is Aditya Prakash. I am second year computer
science student at NIT Durgapur <http://www.nitdgp.ac.in/>, India.
This summer, I will be working on Glittergallery
<https://github.com/glittergallery/GlitterGallery> under GSoC. In case you
have never heard of it, Glittergallery will be the web app which will help
designers to collaborate. I will be working on its commenting system,
integration of sparkleshare <http://sparkleshare.org> and design-with-git
<https://github.com/sarupbanskota/design-with-git>, improvements on its
project's page etc.
My summer vacation is long and I was hoping I could be involved with more
fedora projects. I was really interested in ongoing redesign of fedora-spins
<http://spins.fedoraproject.org> website, however I can't find its
repository, all I found was its ticket
<https://fedorahosted.org/fedora-websites/ticket/315>.
I know C, C++, Python, Ruby and may be a bit of JAVA too. I would be really
grateful if someone can point me to fedora projects which can be a good
place to start for me and whose maintainers would be willing to deal with
noobs.
Thank You!
