GSOC 2013 Idea
by Sourav Basu
Hello,
I am a final year grad student in Computer Sc ience. I was going through the ideas for GSOC 2013 and I saw yours (Java API/ABI changes checker). I liked the idea among a few others. However I saw the skill level being fairly high. I do have knowledge of Java but I'm not sure how much I have to know for this project. I did see the inheritance rules etc. but am sure there's more to that. Can you please tell me a bit more about what else in Java I need to know for this project. :)

Interested in Dorrie
by Anshul Kushwaha
Hello everyone,
I'm a graduate student from India and I'm excited about taking part in GSOC
this year.
I browsed through the Fedora ideas list for this year and would love to
code this summer for the project:
Dorrie: A web-interface for building Fedora spins/remixes
Please tell me how can I start and get involved.
I hope I'll get selected and have a great experience working with Fedora
through GSOC.
Thanks,

Can you tell me what should I do to propose the idea? Or what should be the
next step to work on that project?

by Asanka Nissanka
Hi Buddhike
I am a computer engineering undergraduate at university of peradeniya, and
I am looking forward do a fedora project for gsoc 2013.
I went through the idea list and since the availability has not been
specified there, I picked up two project ideas and listed them in the
following acccording to my priority. So I would like to know the status of
these projects and how to get started.
*[1] RHQ-agent to interface with Matahari* - under Applications for systems
administrators
*[2] Maven FOSS Repository Extension* - under
Improving Fedora packaging, Linux system services

GSOC 2013 Idea List
by Malintha
Hi,
I am final year computer engineering undergraduate from University of
Peradeniya. I would like to join Fedora for GSOC 2013. I am searching
for the idea list for 2013 GSOC but I found it for 2012 GSOC on the
fedora GSOC page. Will it be updated or the idea list is same list in
previous year?
Thank you,
