Hi!
I've just installed F26 and everything works well except my VPN connection. It used
to work perfectly under F25 and I didn't think to save its settings. I am not
however stuck. I did a few (many?) searches and found actually different results on
how to set it up. The most common results give the following suggestions:
in advanced setting enable MSCHAP & MSCHAPv2
also enable MPPE (no stateful encryption), BSD data compression, Deflate data
compression and use TCP header compression.
Then in the user name field I forgot if I entered domain\username or just username
and entered the domain in the NT Domain box.
Thinking it could have been a F26 issue I just burn a live install of F25 and
tried, same issue.
Checking the error log using journalctl -u NetworkManager.service I am getting:

I am wondering what I am missing as my former set up Just Worked(tm). Could I
forgot adding a special package? Any hint will be super welcome!
Well, I hardly ever use PPTP with my VPN provider as I either use proxy DNS or
OpenVPN. So, today I tried and found some interesting things....
F26 - Fails (Same log entries that you've shown)
F24 - Works
Android 7 - Fails
Android 6.0.1 - Works
Since they should be knowledgeable in this area I opened a ticket with my VPN
provider and asked them about the case involving Android. If they comeback with
something which may be applicable I'll let you know.
