And so I followed up on your comments and tried F24 Live and it worked out of the
box. Since it worked for me under F25 as well (not the Live install disk though) I
can only think of a library that I must have installed at one point when using F25
which made it work.
Should I file a bug under bugzilla or wait until you get a feedback yourself?
FWIW, I was just playing with this. I have since found that booting the F24 live it
works fine with the 4.5.5-300.fc24.x86_64 kernel. After update the latest kernel is
installed 4.11.10-100.fc24.x86_64 and it fails.
So, it is the change in the kernel which brings out the failure.
Still waiting on word from my VPN provider to see if there are any changes they can
make on their end to get things working.
I suppose, if you want, you can file a BZ against the kernel and see if someone comes
back and hopefully tells you... Oh, this isn't a bug you need to do X. :-) :-)
