Yea I gave up on gmplayer after trying it once and finding that it
ignores everything I tell it about monitor aspect and always stretches
4:3 video to fill a 16:9 monitor when I tell it fullscreen.
Mplayer, on the other had, gets it correct when I specify -fs
on the command line along with the monitoraspect info in my
config file.
