and the NetworkManager universe is utterly and totally incompatible
(it wouldn't be shiny if it did anything the same way).
Just glancing at the /usr/sbin/dhclient-script itself, I get
the impression that you should be able to edit the
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-p4p1 script and
add a line saying:
SEARCH="mydomain.example.com <
http://mydomain.example.com>"
(but I make no guarantees).
Actually this does work :-)
That's good to know... But I wonder if it would then conflict or
confuse NetworkManager if you then try to use the GUI to manipulate the
search parameter.
