I cannot update Fedora 18 through yum because the redirecting URLs in the repo files automatically select the iPrimus AU mirror. That site appears to have a capacity problem and has not updated its mirror since sometime during the Fedora 17 cycle. Yum reports an error and quits without trying an alternative mirror.

yum should not be redirected to that mirror according to the database. What do you get if you run:
curl -s "https://mirrors.fedoraproject.org/mirrorlist?repo=fedora-19&arch=x86_64"
This should show you the mirrors to which you would redirected. I am adding the mirror admins so that they also know somethings broken. Thanks for your report.

Hi Adrian
Sorry about that, the upstream mirrors we were using seem to have gone away.
I have found another mirror and I'm running an update, you should see 18 and 19 available within about 24 hours.
Unfortunately the report-mirror script doesn't have any smarts to not report if the current version is missing.
Cheers,
Rory
