fedora rsync module for mirrors.163.com
by Adrian Reber
I just had a look at your Fedora mirror entry in Fedora's mirrormanager
and saw that your mirror does not have a rsync URL listed.
Looking at your mirror I only see a 'gentoo-portage' rsync module
listed. Could you also add 'fedora' rsync module. That would help
Fedora's crawler to validate the content of your mirror as it is much
faster.
Thanks for supporting Fedora!

IPv6 only mirror
by Marcin Gondek
Hi,
Is there any way to be mirror only for IPv6?
If I change a DNS entry that will contain only AAAA entry without A, will it works?
Or IPv4 is needed to be still the mirror?
Thanks,

Old Fedora Releases have been moved to archives
by Stephen John Smoogen
Fedora 21, 22, 23, 24 have been all synced over to /pub/archives for
both Fedora and Fedora-secondary sets. We will be removing the copy
out of the Fedora module today so that you may see a large increase in
disk space if you do a --delete. I will send an email to the list when
this has been completed.

[pagure@pagure.io: [fedora-infrastructure] Issue #6362: mirror at
http://ftp.ps.pl/pub/Linux/fedora-linux/releases/26 broken]
by Adrian Reber
Hello ftp.ps.pl admins,
we have following error report concerning your Fedora mirror:
https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/issue/6362
The mirror does not return the correct files but only short html error pages
(see below).
I was able to reproduce this by forcing wget/curl to IPv4. I have no
problems getting the correct files using IPv6. Trying a few times with
IPv4 the errors seems to go away. It is still strange.
Could you have look if everything works as it should. Thanks.

Moving Old Releases to archives
by Stephen John Smoogen
I have hard linked Fedora 21,22,23,24 over to /pub/archives/fedora and
/pub/archives/fedora-secondary. Next week I will work with Adrian to
have mirrormanager to point to the archived version and then I will
remove them from /pub/fedora and /pub/fedora-secondary. This should
cut down the mirror size quite a bit.
I will also work with releng to have any old development 26
directories cleaned up also.
