Hey!
So, we use Flexifilter module(1) in order to appear MediaWiki syntax
in Drupal. But this module is a little big for us, it's enough a
smaller. MediaWiki API works great as Paul sometimes said it. That's
why we would like to replace them, maintain the old MediaWiki API
module or a new one. I talked with one of my friend, he helps us, I
added him to the maintainer list.

Right. The Flexifilter module, although maintained, has a very
unwieldy interface. To add support for each new piece of MediaWiki
input, you have to edit the filter in a very painstaking process. On
the other hand, the Mediawiki_api module simply uses the api.php on
the MediaWiki to get a parsed HTML version of content, and displays it
in Drupal. So it scales perfectly with MediaWiki and whatever
extensions you offer in your instance.
Hopefully Peter will be successful in taking over the module and there
will again be a robust upstream!
