I just thought it would be easier to maintain the package and it would
allow those using versions of Fedora <F15 to have access to the
modules.

How so? All currently supported Fedora releases have drupal==6. If we
rename everything to drupal6 in rawhide, this won't change. It's not
like we're creating a drupal5. Maybe I'm not understanding what you
mean, exactly.
