Really impossible to tell without the cmake output logs,
specifically CMakeFiles/CMakeError.log.
Hardened flags break cmake's MPI Fortran compiler test; I had to add
%if 0%{?rhel} && 0%{?rhel} > 6
%undefine _hardened_build
%endif
