RFE: add buildsys-build to comps, add buildsys macros to epel-release

Hiyas, is there a bugtracker for EPEL and its infrastructure? I did not find one, therefore I post my RFEs for EPEL here: 1) Currently EPEL only provides a buildsys-build rpm package at: http://buildsys.fedoraproject.org/buildgroups/rhel5/i386/ It would be nice to have also a buildsys-build comps group in the EPEL comps file, so one can easier build epel rpms with a gpg check enabled setup. 2) Add the rpm macros from http://buildsys.fedoraproject.org/buildgroups/rhel5/i386/buildsys- macros-5-4.el5.noarch.rpm to the epel-release package. In Fedora the dist macro is also in fedora- release. The reason for this is the same as for 1). Regards Till

Hello... I am trying to add a new perl Yahoo-Marketing module package to fedora/epel, https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=524698. One of the dependencies is for perl-Test-Class. The current fedora package requires newer versions of several existing modules. from koji scratch build: https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/getfile?taskID=1693325&name=build.log + /usr/bin/perl Build.PL installdirs=vendor - ERROR: Test::More (0.62) is installed, but we need version >= 0.78 - ERROR: perl (5.008008) is installed, but we need version >= 5.6001 - ERROR: Test::Builder (0.32) is installed, but we need version >= 0.78 - ERROR: Test::Simple (0.62) is installed, but we need version >= 0.78 ERRORS/WARNINGS FOUND IN PREREQUISITES. EL-5 comps versus FEL collection

Hello there, On Fedora, we have a comps group 'electronic-lab' which facilitates the users' life to install FEL (Fedora Electronic Lab) collection: # yum groupinstall 'Electronic Lab' I wish to have a similar comps group for the EPEL-5 branch. Of course, not all packages under the FEL collection are in EPEL-5 branch due to compatibility reasons. Finding old EPEL packages

Hi. I was looking today for old fuse from EPEL and was unable to find it. Seems, that packages that are moved to main RHEL (fuse is in 5.4 now) are purged completely. I think, that all EPEL packages there were ever released should be available somewhere. It could be useful in situation like mine where one need to install package on old system - it was CentOS 5.3 in my case, or to downgrade some packages. Alexey

Hello all, I'd like to ask this list if anyone is interested in packaging MongoDB for Fedora EPEL.
