I'm starting to take a look at the heimdal package review:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=613001
heimdal is an alternative kerberos implementation to MIT-Kerberos. I'm
assuming we will want to explore the use of alternative to allow coexistence.
One trick part it for EL6 support. I'm assuming that there really is no way
we'll get alternatives support into the RHEL6 krb5 package. In that case is
it acceptable to fall back to the /usr/heimdal/ prefix for the package?

20:35:06 <nirik> #topic Wiki stuff
20:35:20 <nirik> I managed to whip up 2 new pages this weekend:
20:35:23 <nirik> https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/User:Kevin/new_EPEL
20:35:31 <nirik> https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/User:Kevin/new_Joining_EPEL
20:35:43 <nirik> Corrections or comments on those welcome.
20:36:01 <nirik> will try and work on some more this week and hopefully get to where we can replace the existing pages soon.

20:36:33 <nirik> thanks.
20:37:10 * tremble agrees with dgilmore
20:37:15 <nirik> if anyone has time to work on more of them, see https://fedoraproject.org/w/index.php?title=User:Kevin/EPEL_Wiki_Redesign and feel free to work on them.
20:37:26 <nirik> any other wiki stuff?
20:37:57 <nirik> ok, I didn't have much else...
20:38:00 <nirik> #topic Open floor
20:38:05 <nirik> anything for open floor?
20:38:48 <tremble> Your clamav packages are progressing happily through testing?
20:38:49 <jsmith> Just a big thank you to everyone that works on EPEL :-)
20:38:56 <nirik> oh yeah, clamav. ;(
20:39:02 <nirik> no, there's more work needed there...
20:39:09 <nirik> we need to fix amavisd-new to work with the new clamav.
20:39:26 <nirik> nb would love help on that I am sure. ;)
20:40:06 <nirik> I also can try and work on it... just low on time at the moment.
20:41:16 <nirik> we really need to get amavisd-new fixed before we push it out... It might be we could look at dag's amavisd-new package and see how it's integrated.
20:42:20 <nirik> #info help needed on amavisd-new / clamav integration.
20:42:41 <nirik> ok, if no one has anything further we can just call it a short meeting. ;)
20:43:58 <kanarip> hey
20:44:05 <kanarip> help needed on amavis / clamav?
20:44:11 <nirik> kanarip: yes indeed.
20:44:17 <kanarip> shoot what's the problem
20:44:28 <dgilmore> kanarip: clamav packaging has been odd
20:44:33 <nirik> we revamped the epel clamav to be not packaged crazy.
20:44:40 <dgilmore> and amavisd-new was packaged to suit the oddness
20:44:42 <kanarip> yeah, i know
20:44:53 <kanarip> so it's a packaging problem then?
20:44:58 <kanarip> i could help you fix that
20:45:05 <dgilmore> now amavisd-new needs somw work
20:45:25 <kanarip> this is all in dist-git el5/master and el6/master branches or?
20:45:32 <nirik> yeah, amavisd-new expects to ship it's own clamd config, and it's unclear if that will work with the new clamav, or if it should just use vanilla 'clamd'
20:45:38 <nirik> kanarip: yep.
20:45:39 <dgilmore> kanarip: well one issue is that amavisd's clam daemon was pulling snippets from a initscript provided by clamav
20:45:53 <kanarip> ghegheghe
20:46:07 <dgilmore> those snippets are gone now
20:46:07 <kanarip> alright, are other people working on this as well, or?
20:46:16 <dgilmore> not that i know of
20:46:16 <nirik> kanarip: nb has been working on it as well.
20:46:25 <kanarip> ah, i can find him
20:46:30 <dgilmore> nirik: has bhe worked on amavisd or just clam
20:46:36 <kanarip> sure i'll ask him what he needs help with
20:46:39 <nirik> might be just clam...
20:47:04 <nirik> kanarip: fixes very welcome. ;) Thanks for looking into it...
20:47:31 <kanarip> thank my customer
20:47:35 <kanarip> i can bill these hours
20:47:41 <nirik> them too! :)
20:48:07 <kanarip> i'll relay the message. greve(a)fsfe.org ;-)
20:48:19 <nirik> anyone have any other items before we close out?
20:49:26 <dgilmore> nope
20:49:26 <nirik> ok, thanks for coming everyone!
