How can I commit a new package to EPEL5? I adapted python3-3.1.2 from F-13 to RHEL5, anyone need it?

heimdal packaging

I'm starting to take a look at the heimdal package review: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=613001 heimdal is an alternative kerberos implementation to MIT-Kerberos. I'm assuming we will want to explore the use of alternative to allow coexistence. One trick part it for EL6 support. I'm assuming that there really is no way we'll get alternatives support into the RHEL6 krb5 package. New git in EPEL?

After some discussion in IRC (Fedora-admin) we are wondering if pushing a new git in EPEL is a good idea. There are some changes such as git-command vs git command. So there could be some breakage. Should we push a new git and cause some breakage or stick with old-n-busted? My thoughts are to push out a new one, since I think if you are using git, you curse everytime you touch this old crusty thing :) stahnma

python-numeric in EPEL5 newer then in RHEL5
