I am working with HIP for Linux:

We are looking to some major server support on currently Centos 6 cloud
images.
Problem is for other distros, hipl has moved on to libnetfilter_queue
which is not supported in Centos 6. See:
http://bugs.centos.org/view.php?id=6698
Given that getting things into Centos without them being in RHEL is hard, it was
suggested that I turn to EPEL for inclusion. BTW, I am told this is included in RHEL 7,
as it has been in Fedora since at least F17.
Please advise.
Good timing, I've just been playing around with the libnetfilter stuff.
As far as I know, libnetfilter_queue is not in RHEL7, so I've built 1.0.2 for
EPEL7.
Looks like it would have to be a fairly old libnetfilter_queue (possibly
0.0.17?) in EPEL6 due to old dependencies in RHEL6.
I've also asked for updated libraries in RHEL6:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1095446
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1095449
You could pile on there.
