I upgraded from FC2 to FC3, everything is o.k with the exception of
the
ISDN card.
How was it configured with FC2? With the hisax module, the
hisax_fcpcipnp module (Fritz PCI version 2 card?) or the CAPI driver by
AVM?
During the start up I see the Failure red mark during loading of the
ADSL system (that was working on FC2):
What does the ISDN card has to do with ADSL?
The card is recognized as from the output of sbin/lspci
00:12.0 Network controller: AVM Audiovisuelles MKTG & Computer
System
GmbH A1 IS DN [Fritz] (rev 02)
From the kernel start-up log I see:
ISDN subsystem Rev: 1.1.2.3/1.1.2.3/1.1.2.2/1.1.2.3/1.1.2.2/1.1.2.2 loaded
HiSax: Linux Driver for passive ISDN cards
HiSax: Version 3.5 (module)
HiSax: Layer1 Revision 2.46.2.5
HiSax: Layer2 Revision 2.30.2.4
HiSax: TeiMgr Revision 2.20.2.3
HiSax: Layer3 Revision 2.22.2.3
HiSax: LinkLayer Revision 2.59.2.4
pnp: Device 00:01.00 activated.
pnp: Device 00:01.01 activated.
So the hisax module was loaded and the ISDN card initialized.
and this is my /etc/modules.conf
The modules.conf is not used by 2.6 kernels.
I do not see any ISDN module??? what does it mean and how to solve
it???
Did you configure the device using system-config-network?
