It will show that, if they pass a vga option though..
Secondly, do make sure that when you get a kernel update you also get
the corresponding kmod update for nvidia if you have an nvidia card. Otherwise you will
get the blinking cursor in the upper left corner.....and will need to reboot with an older
kernel that still has a kmod-nvidia installed.

In fact, one should install akmod, instead of kmod, so that it's
automatically built on boot up and that issue goes away.
