Wrong architecture is another way of saying that your computer is an
older 32-bit model that will not run the newer 64-bit version of the
Skype software.
What is wrong is that you are attempting to run software limited to
newer computers on your older hardware.
The solution is either to find a substitute software solution to replace
Skype, or to use a newer computer with a wider data path processor.
After reading the message from Ed Greshko, timed four minutes after
mine, I must correct the solution above to say that you may solve the
problem by replacing the 32-bit version of your operating system with a
64-bit version, which may be able to run the Skype software.
