Or because NM doesn't work right for all the little corner
cases the designers have never managed to copy correctly.
Possibly in another 10 years or so it will have full coverage
of all the features network has.
File an RFE bug. The NM developers have added lots of features over
the years and NM seems to cover most use cases these days.
