None of my files have DEVICE= as a parameter, only HWADDR=
You need "DEVICE=..." or "HWADDR=..." for a NIC to be identified.
Oh, and file the OP showed had no DEVICE=. So, I've no idea why
it
would be brought up.
The OP has "HWADDR=...".
