Sorry for straching this too long, but after loading codecs from the given link, I am
getting the following output, but no radio ...........

This is almost exactly what I did as far as codecs are concerned but
sound still does not work.
I do not know whether it is relevant, but my mplayer is from Freshrpms
repository.
