with new installation of f10 and get an auto notice that updates are available.
when i select 'update', 'kpackagekit' pops up showing selection for
updates.
when i select 'update' again, i get a notice of 'authentication failed'.
so just what authentication is failing and how do i authenticate?
also, i would use 'yum update', but there are too many for limited disk space.
or would i be better off updating in an alphabetical order?
searching last 2 months of emails show no similar error.
suggestions? pointers? links?
I saw same error.
This was the first time I used kpackagekit. I switched back to 'yum update'.
Thanks,

tia.
peace out.
