I have no way of reading the memory card separate from the camera. In
fact I'm not sure but I may still be using the internal camera memory?
It does have a card in a slot but I don't often use the camera ... But
when I do I want to be able to extract the images to my computer via the
usb cable Nikon provided!
Sorry, I should have read your e-mail better.
I do following:
ls -l /dev/bus/usb/001
totalt 0
crw-rw-r--. 1 root root 189, 0 23 jan 08.34 001
crw-rw-r--. 1 root root 189, 1 23 jan 08.34 002
crw-rw-r--+ 1 root lp 189, 3 23 jan 08.34 004
The device 004 is my printer so look your results what group the 003 have.
"Bus 001 Device 003: ID 04b0:0320 Nikon Corp."
What happend if you put your user bobg in that group?
Bob
