Yep. I dd the same just now. Installing ffmpeg gets all my videos
going in Firefox and other browsers as well. This includes Netflix
and Twitter videos.
There are a plethora of video formats, and you'll often not have a clue
what codec is being used (things like .avi .mov .mpg filename suffixes
don't indicate what's really inside them).
At least installing ffmpeg will get just about everything supported in
one go.
