Gilboa, what about Xen?
If you don't have VT extensions, you can only run paravirtualised
(read as: modified) versions of other OS's. So you won't get to
run Windows without VT.
[rumor has it there's a paravirt version of Windows XP, but it
hasn't been publically released].
