Ok, now I need some help.
I'm trying to upgrade a machine to F27 but the upgrade process keeps
bitching about two packages: ICAClient-13.3.0.344519-0.x86_64 and
aether-ant-tasks-1:1.0.1-6.fc26.noarch.
The first one does not show up as installed in dnf, rpm, yum or pkcon
and I surely don't recall installing it.
The second one shows up as installed in dnf from the command line (a
local package), but it will NOT allow me to remove it:
[root@golem4 bin]# dnf list aether-ant-tasks

@@commandline
[root@golem4 bin]# dnf remove aether-ant-tasks
No match for argument: aether-ant-tasks
Error: No packages marked for removal.
I see tracebacks in the /var/log/dnf.log regarding this.
GRRRRRR! I've rebuilt the rpmdb and tried to "--exclude=" those
packages and nothing works. Any ideas?
Well, first of all ICAClient does not appear to be a Fedora supplied package.
But when it comes to aether-ant-tasks, maybe try "dnf reinstall" and then
remove?
